Wrapping up our last week of Deck The Blogs, Jess from Cupcakes and Kale won by submitting her Orangettes - which I can't wait to try!  I've ever tried eating orange peels, or many of her lovely vegan creations.  She definitely has some great recipes to check out!

It's been another great week for Deck The Blogs!  This week Whimsy Lou entered her DIY Vintage Fabric Lined Paper Chain, and what a cool idea!  I don't think I've made paper chains since I was in grade school.  I love how she incorporated fabric with spray adhesive.  It's definitely a fun and playful take on holiday decorations!

Whimsy Lou will now be featured on C.R.A.F.T.!  Yayy for her!  And with two weeks till Christmas, let's start our next round of Deck The Blogs!  Good luck everyone!

Do you prefer a real or fake Christmas tree?  I'm used to having a fake tree around but I have always loved the real thing!  This year some friends and I went up to the mountains, spent the day in some small mountain town shopping, and then ventured up into the woods to go tree hunting!  It certainly got me in the Christmas mood!  And now the Christmas tree is up and decorated - I love it!

The smell of a real tree is perfect, and playing in the mountains for a day with friends - also perfect!  Now that the tree is up I guess I just need to get my holiday shopping done.  Yayyy!  I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!  (And P.S. don't forget to submit your holiday projects and recipes to Deck The Blogs!)

Well, the first week of "Deck The Blogs" has come to an end, and I saw some amazing Holiday projects and recipes be entered!  B.Cheniful is the winner and had a really great idea for a Holiday mirror!  It makes me wish I had a fireplace mantle to dress up on occasion.  In fact, look what she did to dress it up over Halloween!  How fun!

Pine cones and candles, such a romantic combination!  I think the holidays are so beautiful with all the lights and decorations -- and the best part is the parties!  What do you think of this table set up?  Combined with the painted wine bottles it was quite charming!
