The last time I was at a water park, I couldn't help notice all the tattoos.  Nearly everyone has one.  The water park has become a walking art show and, despite some really tragic illustrations of the Twilight vampires and belly button doodles, I really feel society has come a long way from the tramp stamp.  I guess that's another reason to love hipsters... gosh, they're so ironic.  Now, if we could just keep FAILblog from finding our tattoo spelling errors...  Nevertheless, there are some great ones out there.

What is interesting about tattoos is how the status of them has changed over the years.  They were once considered more of a low-life public gesture, maybe even sacrilegious.  Now you would be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't sporting a well thought out, inked body part.

It's too bad they're so permanent, I'd have a lot more then this little flower on my foot.  Believe me I think of a lot of artsy quotes I would love to tattoo all over my arms and legs, but then the next day I think of another, which makes yesterdays less significant.  To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly. What meant something to me years ago can have no affect on me today.  So I guess you could say I have commitment issues... when it comes to tattoos.

That being said, I do love them.

Check out more great tats at fyeahtattoos.com.  And for comic relief, be sure glance at some of the tragic ones elegantly placed on failblog.org.
